This morning we were awakened at 4am when Maya awoke for a brief moment and happened to see the digital clock. For the next 5 minutes she exclaimed, "Mommy, clock!" and I knew we were in trouble. We told stories about turtles until about 6am, when I finally got her back to sleep. We all slept in until about 9, and then we got up and played a bit before going out to El Patron for Mexican food. Then Casey and Maya went home for a nap, and Nana, Becca and I went out for a little shopping!
We fixed a big dinner and had the whole family over to see Becca. It was fun. Hopefully Maya will sleep better tonight!
